The first batch of Ukrainian tanks Oplot arrived in Thailand
Five tanks of Ukrainian assembly arrived in the Kingdom of Thailand. According to the press-service of the state concern Ukrspetsexport, the Ukrainian tanks produced by the state company Plant Named after V.A. Malyshev arrived to the port of Sattahip, where they were disembarked and sent to the site of acceptance trials.
After the final acceptance by the Thai side, the machinery will be deemed to have been finally accepted.
The delivery of the first batch of Oplots is taking place in the framework of implementation of the contract, concluded in September 2011 between Ukrspetsexport and the operational office of the Royal Thai Army for the delivery of 49 units of main battle tanks Oplot and the support machines to Thailand. The total value of the contract is substantially higher than $200 million.
