The Ukrainians are in top-three nations appealing to the European Court of Human Rights
Ukraine ranks third by the number of applications on the carpet of the European Court of Human Rights. By the end of 2103, ECHR had 13,300 applications against Ukraine, reports the press service of the Ukraine’s parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
Ukraine is outdone only by Russia and Italy.
The largest number of claims against Ukraine that were solved in 2013 relate to systemic failure to enforce the decisions of national courts.
