Ukrainian opposition seeks to further aggravate the situation - the Russian Foreign Ministry
Russia is concerned about the desire of Ukrainian opposition to aggravate the situation in the country even more, remarks PR Department of Russia's Foreign Ministry in connection with the situation in Ukraine in the statement published on the official web site.
"One of the opposition leaders (Vitali Klitchko - Ed.) publicly called on Ukrainian citizens to create some "militia squads", patrol the streets and organize protests at administration buildings in the regions. This directly contradicts the claims about the opposition's commitment to democracy and European values," says the commentary of Russia's Foreign Ministry.
The ministry is surprised that "this kind of provocative steps are taken immediately after the recent contacts in Munich between the opposition leaders and representatives of Western countries."
"We hope that Ukraine's opposition abandons threats and ultimatums and intensifies dialog with the authorities in order to get the country out of the deep constitutional crisis," reads the statement of the country's Foreign Ministry.
