Klyuyev met with the delegation of the European Parliament
At the meeting in Kiev the head of the Administration of the President Andrey Klyuyev discussed with the European parliamentarians the ways of stabilization of the situation in Ukraine. Klyuyev expressed the opinion about readiness of the government for a compromise settlement of the problem with the opposition and with the leaders of the civil society.
In particular proposals of the government to stop violence in the country, and, thus, to stabilize the situation were announced. "Today the most important is not to allow bloodshed in any case. The representatives of the authorities and of the opposition are well aware of this. Such negotiations have been held several times," Klyuyev stressed.
"The government is open for a dialog," the head of the Administration of the President noted.
The deputies of the European Parliament, headed by Elmar Brok, the chairman of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs, highly appreciated the attempts of the Ukrainian government to settle the conflict. In particular, the delegation reacted positively to the cancellation of the package of the laws adopted on January 16, 2014.
