Crimea priests hold a prayer service for peace in Ukraine
Today in Simferopol in the Peter and Paul Cathedral, Metropolitan of Simferopol and Crimea Lazar held a prayer service for peace in Ukraine, reported the press service of the Crimean diocese.
The prayer service was attended by more than 300 children from weekend and ordinary schools of the city, as well as from the Rangers squad that is run by the Orthodox Cathedral.
After the service, Metropolitan Lazar appealed to the children: “We have just prayed with you about the spread of peace, harmony and love. I prayerfully wish that in the child’s heart of every one of you remained the love, remained the peace. The love and peace that was left to us by our Lord Jesus Christ. Pray, dear children, because prayer of a child is a truly powerful prayer. Pray that the love and peace always stay with all the children and adults, with your parents, relatives and teachers, that the peace remains in our country”.
Today, Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine blessed a prayer for peace in the Ukraine in all churches of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
