The President offered major government positions to two out of three EuroMaidan leaders
According to the minister of justice Elena Lukash, in the course of negotiations, which have recently ended in Kiev, Viktor Yanukovych offered the position of the prime minister to Arseny Yatseniuk and the position of the vice-premier on humanitarian issues - to Vitaly Klichko.
"If the latter agrees to take the position of the prime minister of Ukraine, the President of Ukraine will make a decision on resignation of the government. The position of the vice-premier on humanitarian issues was offered to Vitaly Klichko by the President of Ukraine," reports Lukash, "The President is sure that joint work together with the opposition will let the state unite and conduct the reforms necessary for the state and the society."
Moreover, the President offered public debate to Klichko, who gave his consent.
Also the parties agreed that the streets of Kiev would be gradually cleared from both the protesters and police cordons.
