China to provide financial support to the Crimea farming
Earlier, Crimean and Chinese delegations signed in Beijing a memorandum on cooperation in agriculture.
The Chinese government plans to invest in the improvement of irrigation systems, the restoration of drip irrigation, the introduction of modern agricultural technologies for storage and processing of various grains. The sides also plan to establish a grain terminal at one of the Crimean ports, reports Rustam Temirgaliev, deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea.
This project, to be financed by one of the largest Chinese banks, was endorsed by the parties as a “Pilot Project on agricultural integration”. The investment amount and terms of the contract will be provided later.
