Fire spreads to first residential property at Hrushevskogo
A house at 4, Hrushevskogo St. caught fire from burning tires set alight by protesters to create a smokescreen in front of police units, said press service of the Interior Ministry around midnight last night.
Policemen and Emergency Ministry workers are extinguishing the fire, but protesters continue to burn rubber. This is done to close the door on rapid advancement of police as the protesters fear the Special Forces might storm the barricades.
People’s Deputy from the opposition Alexander Brygynets writes on his social network page that the house was set on fire by the police, though without citing the source of information. The opposition has not yet apologized to residents of house number 4.
