Russia transfers $2 billion in January
The second tranche of the Russian loan of $2 billion possibly comes to Ukraine in the end of January. According to Anatoly Myarkovsky, First Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine, credit will be accompanied by a 5-percent rate. According to ICU analysts, it is almost twice less, than Ukraine was offered by other countries at the world market.
«The state budget was adopted with a deficit. The Russian loan will cover the difference between income and expenditure of the main document of the country,» Alexander Zholud said, an economist at the International center of advanced research. In addition, the Ministry of Finance count on additional borrowings.
The first tranche of Russian funds in the amount of $3 billion, Ukraine have received on December, 24, 2013.
Total amount of the credit, which the Presidents Viktor Yanukovych and Vladimir Putin discussed at a meeting in Moscow earlier on December, 17, 2013, is $15 billion.
