Russia’s Foreign Minister: In Europe no one doubts that authorities must disperse the demonstrators
European politicians supporting Ukrainian opposition demonstrate a policy of double standards as within the EU no one doubts the need for action to combat violence, that is, the need for violent dispersal of demonstrators, said Russia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov at a press conference in Moscow.
Lavrov condemned interference of foreign politicians in Ukraine's internal affairs and their promoting further escalation of confrontation between the authority and the opposition. Moscow is convinced that internal problems of any country should be solved without outside interference.
“We would still prefer our European colleagues to behave less unceremoniously in connection with the Ukrainian crisis. When members of several European governments without any invitations rushed to the EuroMaidan, they joined anti-government demonstrations in the country with which they have diplomatic relations,” rages Russian Foreign Minister about the behaviour of European colleagues.
