Maintenance for Windows XP will stop in April
From the 8th of April maintenance and automatic security update for Windows XP will be terminated.
This suggests that upon expiration of the license term, the computer software with this operating system becomes vulnerable to viruses. Running unsafe programs can cause loss of documents, photos, music and other personal data.
In connection with this, manufacturers strongly recommended to replace all Windows XP systems and older systems to newer ones, such as Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows Vista.
It is worth mentioning that Microsoft now for 14 years (since 1999) releases Windows XP, that is record long-lived operating system. Currently the Corporation is going to invest in development of new technologies.
