Terrorist is detained in Afghanistan - a 10-year-old girl
Police detained a 10-y.o. girl who was going to commit a terrorist attack near the police station in the Afghan province of Helmand.
The representative of the Afghan police Hamidulah Siddiq said that the girl was arrested at one of the police posts in the Hanshin district. According to him, the girl was forced to terrorist attack by her brother Zahir, who accompanied the girl to the scene of the supposed explosion. According to police, when brother learned that law enforcers are approaching, he fled with explosives in an unknown direction. Police are now looking for him. Zahir is considered one of the fighters of Taliban movement, RIA-Novosti news agency reports.
According to other reports, the girl was detained while carrying the bomber belt forcibly put onto her by her brother. She was unable to push the button to activate the explosives. Yet other media sources report that the girl got rid of explosives on the way to the place of the alleged attack.
"I was walking along the river and decided to throw away the belt (the bomber belt). My brother ran away, and I was detained by police," quotes the agency the girl’s speech at a press conference in the city of Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand province.
