Already 12 countries ditch Eurovision
Bulgaria joined the ranks of countries that canceled participation in Eurovision-2014 song contest to be held in Copenhagen in May.
Other countries that ditched the singing competition are Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Cyprus, Monaco and Morocco. The cancellations are due to financial difficulties, lack of sponsors and introduction of a mixed jury voting system.
Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Luxembourg and Andorra have already canceled participation in Eurovision-2014 — for economic reasons and due to the lack of interest in the competition.
