Christmas tree falls on the passengers in Kiev’s Borispol airport
On December 30 a Christmas tree fell down on the Terminal D of Kiev’s international airport Borispol, reported an eyewitness on the Ukrainian Aviation Forum website.
Unofficially, the airport staff says that tree fell because of the faulty installation by the contracted for occasion company. The contractor will restore the tree and the decorations from the own pocket, says KievNews website.
According to preliminary information, no one was seriously hurt because of the accident — the passengers photographed by the tree escaped with minor injuries.
At the same time, one of the witnesses of the incident said at the forum that passengers of supposedly Almaty flight were heavily drunk and the tree fell due to their fault.
