Russia and Kazakhstan signed the law on creation joint anti-aircraft forces system
Today in Astana ratified the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan "On creation joint system of anti-aircraft forces (AAF). The system is intended for defense of the countries from possible threats by the USA, NATO, Europe and China.
In the law «On ratification of the Agreement between the Russian Federation and Republic of Kazakhstan on the creation of joint system of anti-aircraft forces system of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan» is considered a common procedure of coordination of national troops.
In particular, the law contains statutory provisions on the procedure of application of forces in war time, the unity of goals and plans of preparation for combat actions, the general requirements of the training program of military forces, and organization of their operational readiness. The headquarters of the national armed forces in the unified regional system will not change their places.
The Heads of states will appoint a commander for coordinating international air forces. The center headquarters of the international armed forces will be located in Alma-Ata (Republic of Kazakhstan).
Earlier the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan initialed the Agreement on January, 30, 2013. The Agreement is valid for 5 years. In the course of the negotiations, the Heads of states approved the probability of automatic extension for another 5 years.
