Russia And Belarus Signed Program Of Military-Technical Cooperation Untill 2020
Today, at the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State between Russia and Belarus signed the Agreement on military-technical cooperation (MTC) until 2020 was signed.
At the session, interests of Russia were submitted by Alexander Fomin, the Director of the Federal Service for military-technical cooperation. In accordance with decree № 439 by the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, Sergei Gurulev, the Head of the State military-industrial Committee was endowed with powers to sign a document.
The representatives confirmed mutual interest in further development of military-technical cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
In addition, representatives of states signed the document on cooperation in the fight against corruption. The partnership of countries was confirmed by the Agreement on mutual protection of rights for results of intellectual activity.
It is expected that the signing of the document will favor to systematizing of work on military-technical cooperation between the countries, and will also provide Belarusian enterprises with the admission for the state defense order of the Russian Federation on specific projects.
