Hall of Fame for Afghan war veterans opens in Sevastopol
On December 25 a Hall of Fame for Afghan war veterans was opened in Sevastopol, reports the official website of Sevastopol City Administration.
The Hall, opened in the City Museum of Afghan war veterans, is dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the Soviet invasion of the territory of the Republic of Afghanistan.
Residents and visitors to the city can get acquainted with the exposition presented in the Hall, in particular, exhibits of photographs, personal items and uniforms of 15 Sevastopol residents who died in the war.
In anticipation of this significant date, the veterans repaired the museum and restored the monument to peacekeepers.
