Electrotyazhmash ships a turbine generator to Krivoy Rog power plant
Kharkov-based Electrotyazhmash has completed shipment of the TGV-325 2AU3 turbo-generator for Block No 1 of Krivoy Rog thermal power plant (a part of the DTEK company), reports the press office of the plant. Supply contract for 325 MW turbo-generator was signed on May 29, 2012, within the program for modernization of Ukrainian power generating plants.
“Electrotyazhmash has completed another order for DTEK, our strategic partner. We therefore once again confirmed the status of the flagship company that manufactures equipment for the largest power generating companies of Ukraine," said Dmitry Kostyuk, first deputy director of the plant.
Electrotyazhmash specializes in designing and manufacturing high-output hydroelectric generators, hydroelectric actuators, turbine generators for thermal and nuclear power plants, electric actuators for rolling mills, mine lifts, water pumps for irrigation canals, traction electrical equipment for rail and urban transport. The plant supplies its products to Russia, India, Kazakhstan, Panama, Mexico and other countries around the world. In 2013, the company plans to sell 2.2 billion UAH worth of production, in 2014 - 2.5 billion UAH.
