The sky over Ukraine may be open already in summer 2015
In summer 2015 the agreement "The Open Sky" between Ukraine and the European Union may be initialed.
During the briefing the Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Alexandr Vilkul informed that common air space will give the possibility to increase the number of airlines, which work on Ukrainian flights, as well as the number of the flights, to create healthy competition and improve the quality of services, herewith reducing the price of the tickets.
“We plan that the agreement "The Open Sky" will start working with the summer schedule of 2015,” Vilkul informed.
The Deputy Prime Minister has also added that currently 10 low cost airlines operate in the country, 6 of which started working in the current year. It allowed increasing the flow of the passengers by 7%.
