A playland with Cheburashka and diadia Fedor will be built in Israel
A playland decorated with characters from the works of Eduard Uspensky will be built in Israel. The figures of Cheburashka and his friends as well as the inhabitants of Prostokvashino village will appear in the park of Holon.
A famous Israeli sculptor Leonid Zilber started creating the figures of the Soviet fairy heroes for new playland in the town with tens of thousands of natives of the USSR and CIS. The project is implemented with assistance of the Russian cultural center in Tel-Aviv.
Holon, which is called "the children's capital" of Israel due to a large number of children educational and entertaining facilities, already features 48 thematic playlands devoted to the heroes of Israeli fairy-tales; however, the characters from Russia will appear here for the first time.
