It became easier to receive monetary assistance for a newborn
The procedure of acquiring financial aid for a child has been simplified in Ukraine
The president has signed a law approved by Verkhovna Rada, according to which in order to receive monetary assistance for the newborn it is necessary to have only passport and the birth certificate, while the officials will be responsible for acquiring all the other documents. Earlier the parents used to be responsible for submitting all the references, for example, the reference from the registry office for allocation of one-time dowries for the birth of a child, the reference on the family composition (for the second and subsequent children), and others.
The amount of the government aid for the first child is 31,000 hryvnas, for the second one – more than 60,000, and 124,000 – for a third child.
