The opposition prepares to plant misinformation about a state of emergency - the people’s deputy
The opposition prepares to plant misinformation about the state of emergency. According to the technology of the “color revolutions”, media space should provide daily news that will mobilize people, stirring up their interest to various activities.
This opinion was expressed by Oleg Tsarev, people's deputy from the Party of Regions, during a briefing in corridors of Ukrainian parliament.
“Thus, for Saturday and Sunday, my parliamentary colleague Gennady Moskal announced that a provocation against me is being prepared and something should happen to me. Allegedly, this will be the occasion for imposition of the state of emergency. I was approached by my colleagues, the deputies of the opposition factions - I have friends there - and according to the information that they provided, today at 2:00 p.m. Andrey Kozhemyakin will hold a press conference, saying that 60,000-80,000 military are being sent to the capital. All night by the order of faction leader Yatsenyuk, there was simulation of the decree about the state of emergency. He directly ordered this to Oleg Medvedev, his political strategist,” said Tsarev.
According to him, nobody from the opposition knew how to write such a decree.
“So, for the whole night, in strict secrecy, they phoned the former members of the government trying to make this decree more or less believable. And they are looking for a person to announce today, at 6:00 p.m., a general mobilization on Maidan because the Government allegedly decided to introduce a state of emergency,” said the deputy.
He has also added that he sees as significant threat that after these calls, new provocations or building seizures might follow.
“I personally met with the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense; we have just talked with the head of the Party of Regions faction. We decided that the police would not be approaching Maidan. Of course, we have questions about what's going on there, to our knowledge, there are armed men and we understand that this is a threat to Kiev inhabitants,” he stressed.
At the same time, according to Oleg Tsarev, at this moment the police does not plan to take any action against Maidan.
“As for the opposition, I would suggest them to get the journalists to the 5th floor of the House of Trade Unions and to show the people there. According to my information, there are men in camouflage uniforms there and they are supposedly armed," stressed the politician.
