Odessa court upheld the decision to revoke the license of ATV channel
Odessa Administrative Court of Appeal upheld the decision to revoke the license of TV channel ATV.
According to a statement published on the channel’s website, ATV channel is on the verge of closing.
“Odessa Administrative Court of Appeal decided that the regulator should take away the license of ATV channel. Today the Court dismissed the appeal by the TV channel and upheld the decision of Odessa Regional Administrative Court on the suit filed by the National TV and Radio regulator on November 13, 2013 to revoke ATV license. At any moment we can be turned off, but we’re not giving up,” the statement reads.
On December 13, Odessa Regional Administrative Court ruled to revoke the license of ATV channel associated with Igor Markov, former people’s deputy of Ukraine.
