The rally participants wearing masks robbed the storehouse of Kiev city hall
The protesters robbed the storehouse in the building of Kiev City State Administration: the lock on the door of the storehouse was broken and the crockery and kitchen equipment was taken away.
The press service of the Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) in Kiev reported that on December 16 at approximately 12:20 p.m. the police of Shevchenko District Department of MVD of the capital received a call from the worker of Kiev City State Administration, who was responsible for catering service and trade.
The woman informed that the protesters broke into the storehouse of Kiev City State Administration and took away the things. Among the things that were taken away were the dinnerware (plates, cups, glasses, forks, spoons) and the kitchen equipment (microwave ovens, deep-fryers, electric kettles).
The worker of Kiev City State Administration went to the dining room and saw there about 20 people wearing masks. They had the property taken away from the storehouse.
The woman addressed the protesters with the request to return the things. One of the unknown people introduced himself as the vice commandant of Kiev City State Administration and told her all these things were already on their balance. After that the unknown people ousted the woman from the dining room.
Before the police arrived, the entrance door of the dining room were closed and blocked from the inside. Now the police are clearing up the exact list of the things and the amount of material loss.
The MVD informed that the deeds of the deliberate criminals, who took away the property from the storehouse may be preliminary classified according to the article 185 (Robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty according to this article is imprisonment for up to 12 years with the confiscation of the property.
