Füle: Ukraine has exaggerated economic losses in case of signing of the agreement with the EU
The European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Füle believes that Ukraine announced excessive amount of losses of the Ukrainian economy in case of signing of the association agreement with the EU.
The European Commissioner questioned the words of the Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov that the country needed 20 billion euros compensation to level the losses of the economy.
"The amounts announced by the Ukrainian government as possible losses of the Ukrainian economy after signing of the agreement with the EU are extremely exaggerated," Fule says.
He hinted that Ukraine needed to decide as soon as possible whether it wanted the European integration or not.
"The faster Ukraine will determine with its intentions, the faster both parties of the process will begin and complete their work," the European Commissioner said.
