The Crimean Prime Minister has reported to the President
Anatolii Mogilev the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (ARC) has discussed with the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich the situation on the peninsula. Special attention was paid to the issues of socio-economical development of the Crimea.
A. Mogilev remarked that the President emphasized on the status of the Crimea as a strategic region. In general, socio-economical situation on the peninsula is satisfying for the President. However, some issues need detailed consideration. V. Yanukovich gave instructions on improvement of the situation in the autonomy.
Approved by the President investment policy in the Crimea will increase the economical potential of the region. Among other things, the program of the 4th Black Sea International Economic Forum in Yalta contains the main stages of work with investors. Such directions as hotels construction, development of the alternative energy forms, agriculture, and transport have been implemented in the definite investment projects. Social standards of development are under personal control of the Prime Minister.
During the economical forum 5 agreements have been signed, and it was highly appreciated by the head of the state. Further implementation of the projects contributes to the global development of the region.
